A Summer in Mini-review
Summer is winding down. The leaves are changing, the nights are getting crisp, and artificial pumpkin spice flavoring abounds. I know I've been neglecting my blogging responsibilities (and most social media) for months now. It's been a wonderful time for me to really focus on my family and creative pursuits, but it's high time I brought everyone up to speed. I have some big news...
Future Remains is very close to launch. All edits are complete, and the cover art is set. I promise, the instant I establish a release date, you will know. Right now, it's looking like a late September/early October launch.
I have reviewed the digital proof for the paperback edition, and it is promising. In a week or two, I should have a physical copy in hand. If everything looks good, I will be poised to press the Big Red Button and publish Future Remains at last. Then, it will be on to my next novel, and ideas are definitely swirling.
I've also taken up watercolor painting. You can see a few of my more successful attempts over in my galleries. It's a deeply satisfying - and wickedly challenging - addition to my artistic repertoire. I find myself drawn to ink and wash methods, and in this I would like to thank Peter Sheeler for his wonderful YouTube channel. I cannot recommend it enough.
I'll wrap this up now. Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
